What's all this?

An Oingo Boingo shrine (visibly trembling and crying). I've been an Oingo Boingo fan since 2019. It gives me so much serotonin, I love rambling about it and I just NEEDED to make something à la shrine for it, so I can talk about it and people who actually care can read it. I just hope that noone sends this to Danny Elfman LOL. I would be a little bit embarrassed. A lot actually. Most of the info there is from Wikipedia but cleaner, and well, I added some pieces of information I've gathered myself.

What is "Oingo Boingo"?

Oingo Boingo is a (mostly) 80s band. It's hard to tell what genre of music it is, but usually it's labelled as "new wave" (although once Danny Elfman got into a fight because he didn't like that). They've been experimenting with their style a lot over the years, some people say it's goth music, some say it's punk; I'd call it sorta experimental. Nonetheless I love them a lot.

Where can I listen to them?

I urge everyone to stream it instead of pirating because they deserve the recognition and the money and everything. The entire discography + some singles are on Spotify (and probably on Apple Music too). YouTube is also an option, you can find there not only footage from concerts, but also many songs that weren't officially released (for the unreleased songs I highly recommend the Oingo Boingo Tapes channel). If you're really interested in unreleased or rare stuff there's also this google drive link going around with many concert recordings and demos, not sure if I can share this one but there it is.
